Dear Parents, This Friday dismissal is at 2:30. Gym is cancelled due to Pre K graduation in auditorium on Tuesday morning. On Monday, departmental teachers will meet from 12:00 to 4:00 to agree on grades for character development. During this week work will be assigned in Religion Chapter Review pages and Handwriting pages to complete the year's work. Please check calendar for next week's dismissal times.
This week a permission slip will be sent home for our annual school field day trip to Riverbank State Park. We will be leaving together from school and taking the train to the park on Monday, June 15 and will be returning by 12:30 in the same way. Please sign the permission slip and indicate if you or another resposible adult will be coming with us that day.
All students must wear their school gym shirt and long sweat pants and bring a lightweight back pack. I strongly suggest all children bring water bottles, sunglasses, suntan lotion, a light lunch and snack, and hand sanitizer or handiwipes. Outdoor toys such as balls, bats, kites, frisbees, jump ropes, etc. are allowed as long as they all fit inside the backpack. Hands however need to be free in order to hold on while climbing stairs or holding a partner's hand when crossing streets. Children who go with their parents to the park and meet us there must be marked absent. If a parent wishes to take their child home early must sign out their child before leaving. Ms. Saville
