Dear Parents,
Below is a list of the vocabulary definitions for this week:
sacrament - special sign given to us by Jesus through which we receive God's grace.
grace - the gift of God's life in us
Baptism - sacrament by which we are freed from sin and become members of the Church
Eucharist - sacrament by which we receive the gift of Jesus' Body and Blood
Confirmation - sacrament by which the Holy Spirit empowers us to be witnesses to Christ
The above work was rescheduled since it had to be postponed till exams were over.
Fourth graders need to bring their completed Map of the Month by Mon, Jan 25!
Next week on Feb. 1st and 5th, there will be Open House for any parents who wish to visit. Class Pictures will be taken on Feb. 2nd and Indvidual Pictures will be taken on Feb. 3rd. All picture envelopes sent home last week must be taken to Mrs. Resto in the tuition room only.
SECOND GRADE HOMEWORK:
1/25 Voc- Study all 15 new vocabulary definitions in Vocabulary notebook.
Rel - Answer all questions on pp. 56 to 63.
1/26 SS - Review pp. 120 to 141 and all notes on Chapter 5 including essay for test Wed.
Rel - Answer all questions on pp. 68 to 75.
1/27 SS - In notebook write Aim: To learn definitions p. 142 on top line. Then copy the definitions for ocean, mountain, hill, river.
Rel - Answer all questions on pp. 184 to 191.
1/28 SS - On the same notebook page, continue copying the definitions for globe, continent, lake, island.
Rel - Answer all questions on pp. 64, 76, 192.
