Dear Parents,
This week the third and fourth grades will be doing their Advent confessions and should all REVIEW THEIR NOTES ON RECONCILIATION IN THEIR RELIGION NOTEBOOKS. The second grade will be doing their readings at our class Mass on Dec. 8th for the feast of the Immaculate Conception. There is no school this Friday!
For our Christmas show on Monday, Dec. 19th, all boys should dress in black pants and black shoes and red shirts. Girls should dress in red skirts (about knee length) and green blouses, red or green tights, and black shoes. A few students may also need to bring a change of clothes if they are playing a certain role for the show. I would appreciate if parents could let me know if they have any outfits stored at home that would be fitting for Mary, Joseph, and angels.
We have new vocabulary definitions for this week which are listed below:
*adjective - a word that describes a noun by number, size, quality, etc.
*expository- writing genre that explains how to make or do something or give directions such as to a location
