Dear Parents,
I hope you are enjoying your Easter break. On Friday I gave out four Math sheets with activities that were supposed to be done on construction paper but unfortunately they were run off back to back which makes it impossible. So..... I showed all students how to do the first one one each page so they would know how to do the rest. When we return from vacation, I will ask that the sheets be run off again so we can do them properly. My goal is to have each student make a Math and a Science booklet to take home at the end of the year. Please have your child complete all four Math sheets as is for now.
The four leveled readers on www.pearsonrealize.com have been assigned. The following titles will be available on-line (starting March 23 to April 9): This Is The Seed (to read only), My Apple Tree, Trees and Leaves, Our Tree in All Seasons. The last three books will have questions THAT MUST BE ANSWERED on loose leaf. Do each on a separate loose leaf each with a full heading. Each assignment will count as a separate grade! I have also made available the books we are studying in class so you can review for the upcoming Selection Test in Reading. Click on Text Collection and study the first two stories "Goods and Services" and "Supermarket."
Finally, I will be giving the Religion quiz (on Chapter 11 and 12) and the Social Studies quiz (based on the Studies Studies notes in their notebook and text pp.138 to 141) on the Tuesday when we return. We are all scheduled to return Mon., April 9th. ALL NEEDED BOOKS WERE SENT HOME! Please make sure students complete their assignments! Thank you!
