Dear Parents,
Please remember to send in cans this week for the poor and the forms regarding the flu shot. Dismissal this Thursday is at 12:oo. Report cards will be distributed to 2nd, 3rd, and 4th grades from 9:30 to 10:oo in the auditorium. Parent conferences will be held from 2:00 to 7:00 p.m. for any parent who has a concern or if your child is failing in any area.
The vocabulary words for this week will be in the area of Religion:
*saint - a follower of Christ who lived a life of holiness on earth
*temptation - an attraction to choose sin
*prayer - talking and listening to God
*samaritan - a person who helps those in need. The word refers to the only one in the parable who stopped to help the beaten man.
*stewardship - sharing and caring for the resources of the earth
