SOCIAL STUDIES

3/9 Aim: To describe Dakar, Senegal

3/10 Aim: To review chapter
Lesson: Answer questions on p. 182: Vocabulary and Facts
Homework: Study notes on Chapter 7.

3/11 Aim: To review geography skills
Lesson: Practice using a grid map and main idea map. p. 183
Homework: Study notes on Chapter 7.

3/12 Aim: To review for test
Lesson: Students copy a chart comparing/contrasting Dakar and Washington D.C.
and explain location chosen for our nation's capital.
Homework: Study notes on Chapter 7 for test Monday.

RELIGION

3/9 Aim: To identify role of Mary
Lesson: Give notes on Mary and the dignity of the human body. GL p. 24
Homework: Study notes on Mary.

3/10 Aim: To discuss scripture selections from Guidelines
Lesson: Read and give notes on the following: Two Great Commandments (Luke 10: 25-28)
Good Samaritan (Luke 10: 29-37) and Love of Enemies (Matthew 5: 43-46)
Homework: Study notes on Scripture readings.

3/11 Aim: To describe the Easter season
Lesson: Explain what happened at the resurrection and story of doubting Thomas.
