9/29 Aim: To review chapter
Lesson: Sum up chapter by reviewing key words and written responses. (pp. 28-29)
Homework: Study text book pp. 28-29 , notes in notebook, and Workbook pages.

9/30 Aim: To introduce DBQ
Lesson: Explain how to examine pictures of landforms, resources, and climate to
answer questions and prepare to write essay.
Homework: On looseleaf write heading. Use pictures to write an essay. It must have
five paragraphs with at least 3-4 sentences in each. Due Thursday.

10/1 Social Studies Test
Homework: Continue writing the essay. Be sure to proofread when finished.

10/2 Aim: To explore how New York uses natural resources
Lesson: Compare renewable and nonrenewable resources (pp. 32-33)
Homework: In notebook write date and page. Answer Workbook p. 5.

10/3 MASS

Religion

9/29 COMPUTER - no Religion class

9/30 Aim: To review chapter
Lesson: Sum up chapter by reviewing key words and written responses (pp.40-41)
Homework: In workbook answer p. 7.

10/1 Aim: To review the Beatitudes
Lesson: Students recite the beatitudes and explain the significance of each.
Homework: In workbook answer p. 9.

10/2 Aim: To review prayers
Lesson: Review the Apostles Creed and Act of Contrition (in the back of book)
Homework: Study pp. 40-41 and notes in notebook for test on Tuesday,Oct. 7.

10/3 Aim: To work on a Beatitude project
Lesson: Each student is assigned a beatitude to write and must design an "I can..."
cartoon to show its significance.
Homework : On a 3 by 5 index card write three sentences about Sunday's gospel.
