Homework: On a blank white students must draw/color pictures of our country's symbols: the Flag, the Bald Eagle, the Great Seal, the Liberty Bell, the Statue of Liberty, and Uncle Sam. Each one should be labeled neatly and correctly. This work is due on Thursday.

Letter to Parents of Second Grade

Dear Parents,
As the school calendar states, our Spring show is schehuled for Monday,
March 23 at 5:00. Tickets should be bought ahead of time. On the day of our
show, dismissal for second grade will be at 11:30 so that children have time
to go home and get ready. Children should be back in school no later than 4;15.
If for any reason your child will not be able to participate in the show,
please let me know since they have all been assigned parts.
For the show boys will need to wear loose-fitting baggy jeans, a spring
color shirt, sneakers, and a baseball cap (worn backwards). Girls will need
to wear a flower print or spring color (pink,yellow,light blue or green)dress
or skirt and blouse - not jeans - with light colored tights and shoes - not sneakers.
