Weekly Notices for June 19 to 23

 Dear Parents,

          It is almost time to say good-bye! I will miss you all very much!
 Please read the following list of reminders:
***Please have students bring their book bags and their homework folder (emptied out) so I can send in their yearly  classwork.  Test folder should stay at home!
***Students may bring in toys or board games, coloring or activity books this week but NO ELECTRONICS or OUTDOOR TOYS.
***Our End of Year Pizza Party will be on Wed.  Students only need to bring in their own juice containers.  
***Gym class will be on Thursday. Wear gym clothes.
***Students may dress down on Tues. and Wed.  but on Friday they MUST be in school uniform. On Friday students will receive report cards and spring NWEA MAP TEST scores.  Award Ceremony will be at 10:00 in church. Parents invited.

Weekly Notices for June 12 to 16

 Dear Parents,

         This is our final week of testing.  Since the Unit 6 Summative Reading Test does not require any studying, I plan to give it this Monday.  The rest of the tests will be given as I scheduled them on Thursday's homework: Religion on Tues., Reading on Wed., and Science on Thurs.  I will not be assigning any more homework except to study for these tests. 

          I would like to have our end of the year party this week, hopefully this Tuesday.  I am requesting that each parent send in five dollars to cover the cost of pizza and some additional treats. I would appreciate if you send in the money on Monday so I can order the pizza ahead of time for the next day.    Children should bring their own individual juices.

          Students will have GYM on Tues. this week.   On Friday we will have our End of the School Year Mass at 10:00 followed by 8th Graduation exercises.  Students need to be in full school uniform that day!

         We have school this Friday and next Friday as well.  Our last day is Fri., June 23.  Report cards will be distributed on THAT DAY, not before. The Honors Assembly will be at 10:00 on June 23rd  and dismissal on that last day will be at 12:00.  I will allow children to bring in toys on the last week but only things that children can play with at their desk.  NO ELECTRONICS will be allowed.

Weekly Notices for June 5 to 9

 Dear Parents,

          You should have all received the June calendar last week.  Please be aware that school is again closed this Friday, June 9.  On Tuesday lunch will be at 12:00  since all students will be attending the 8th grade Ring Ceremony at 11:00.  Students will also be having lunch in the classroom on Tues., Wed., and Thurs. this week.  I am not sure about gym this week.  I will let you know.

           Please remember to have your children review well for upcoming tests this week:  Social Studies on Tues., Science on Wed., and Reading on Thurs.  Study guides for each are on google classroom.  There will be tests next week as well and then I will start calculating final grades. Thank you for your cooperation in having students review for their tests.
