Weekly Notices for Jan. 30 to Feb. 3

 Dear Parents,

           This Friday at 100:00 we are having a prayer service for the feast of St. Blaise in which all attending will have their throats blessed.  This Friday we also have dismissal at 12:00. Students are having Reading tests on both Tues. and Thurs., a Social Studies test on Wed. and a Vocabulary quiz on Fri.

            Students are starting Math homework in a new workbook on Monday so the older completed workbook should be left at home.  

             A reminder that report cards will be sent home on Feb. 6 and parent-teacher conferences will be held on Fri., Feb. 10 from 1:00 to 6:00. Please choose a time slot below based on whether you want to see me in person or on  zoom. You must let me know ONLY by email so that there is no conflict.

 Dear Parents, 

         Please remember to send in the test folder (with each test signed) by Monday.  Please check carefully the dates of quizzes this week:  The Reading Quiz on The Winner's Choice is on Tues.,  Vocabulary Quiz on Hunter's Money Jar is on Wed., Math Module 3 Test is on Thurs., Vocabulary Quiz for Goods and Services is on Fri.  No other tests can be given on Friday since we are expecting a visit from supervisors on that day.

     Next week we are starting Module 4 in Math and students will be receiving new workbooks both in class and for homework.  This Friday marks the end of Quarter 2.  Reports cards will be distributed on Feb. 8th and Parent-Teacher Conferences will be on held on Feb. 10th.

 Dear Parents,

          Please remember that students are having a Writing Test this Tues. as well as the Unit 2 Reading Test.  They have a Religion Quiz on Wed. OR Thurs.  and a Vocabulary Quiz on Friday.  Students should refer to the study guides for each that was posted on Fri., Jan. 13's  assignment. 

          Progress Reports will be distributed on Tues. Parents are required to sign these before they are returned. We are celebrating National Popcorn Day on Thurs. and National Cheese Lover's Day on Fri. 

             This Friday all first graders will have their vision and hearing tested.

Weekly Notices for Jan. 9 to 13

 Dear Parents,

         IMPORTANT NOTICE!!!!  MAP TESTING HAS BEEN SCHEDULED FOR THIS WEEK!!!! Students will be taking the Math MAP TEST on Tues., Jan. 10 and the Reading MAP TEST on Thurs., Jan. 12. I will rescheduling the class tests I had planned so please be sure to check daily assignments on google classroom for these updates and for any study guides I have provided.  I will be sending the test folder by the end of next week. Please have children bring in their own headphones for the tests if you wish.

        This Friday we are having 12:00 dismissal and we are closed on Mon., Jan. 16 for Martin Luther King's birthday.
