Homework for 2nd, 3rd, and 4th for 3/15 - 3/19

Dear Parents,
There will not be any new definitions for the Vocabulary notebook until we return from Easter vacation since the third quarter ends next Thursday. However, I will be giving all three classes Religion definitions to be recorded in their Religion notebooks to be reviewed well during the Easter vacation.This is very important in preparation for the Archdiocesean exam to be taken by both third and fourth graders at the end of this year. On March 17, students can wear green clothes (no jeans) in honor of St. Patrick's Day. On Friday all must be in uniform for Mass at 9:00; there will be no Stations of the Cross and dismissal will be at 2:30.

SECOND GRADE HOMEWORK:
3/15 SS - On looseleaf write heading. Anser 3 questions on p. 185 in complete sentences.
Rel - Answer Workbook p. 40.

3/16 SS - On looseleaf write heading. Answer 6 questions on p. 187 in complete sentences.
Rel - Answer Workbook p. 41

3/17 SS - Study text pp. 188-189.
Rel - Answer Workbook p. 42.

3/18 SS - Study all notes on Chapter 7 for test this Friday.
Rel - Study all Religion vocabulary definitions in Religion notebook for test next week.

THIRD GRADE HOMEWORK
3/15 SS - Study notes on pp. 200-201.
Rel - Study text pp. 96 to 99 and answer all questions.

3/16 SS - Social Studies test Wed. Review all notes on Chapter 8.
Rel - Study text pp. 100 to 104 and answer all questions.

3/17 SS - Study all answers to questions on p. 202 in textbook.
Rel - Study text pp. 108 to 111 and answer all questions.

3/18 SS - Study text pp. 210 to 215.
Rel - Study text pp. 112 to 116 and answer all questions.

FOURTH GRADE HOMEWORK
3/15 SS - Study notes on text pp. 204-205.
Rel - Review the Stations of the Cross in correct order and be able to write a prayer about one of them explaining how it inspires you in your life for test this Tues. Review Act of Faith prayer also.

3/16 SS - Review all notes on Chapter 8 in notebook for test this Wed.
Rel - Answer Workbook p. 39.

3/17 SS - On white paper draw a map of NYS marking the route of the Erie Canal in red and other canals in blue. On bottom list names of cities on these routes. (See text p. 168)
Rel - Answer Workbook p. 40.

3/18 SS - On white paper draw and label neatly a picture to show how a canal worked. (See text p. 169)
Rel - Study all Religion vocabulary definitions in the Religion notebook for test next week.
