DearParents,
Last week's vocabulary test has been rescheduled for this Friday so please have students review  the last set of twenty definitions in their vocabulary notebooks.  This week both third and fourth graders will begin presenting their speeches as the picture aside is meant to remind you.  Each THIRD GRADER should bring in their five index cards each with a question on their planet in the front and the answer to that question on the back based on the research done in class and/or at home (1. who, what or which; 2. when, 3. where, 4. how, 5. why) and their model or picture of the planet for display.
Each FOURTH GRADER should bring in their information on 2 or 3 index cards on the mythology associated with their assigned  constellation  and the picture they created of their constellation on black construction  paper. Both these assignments will be followed up by a writing assignment (eg. fourth graders will create their own myth next week based on what is learned this week.
