Dear Parents,
Since all students will be taking final exams in other subject areas every day this week, I will not be assigning any other work except to review the ELA quizzes sent last week and follow the ELA Study Guide that has been posted on the blog. The ELA Final Exam is scheduled for next Monday, June 20th. It is a test which requires answering 40 questions covering vocabulary, grammar, phonics, literature, and writing a complete essay with an introduction, conclusion, and transition words based on a guideline! For second grade it will involve writing a letter. I will assessing students during the week based on the information on the quizzes and the study guide and it will count toward theri final grade. I will be working on bullying awareness activities during the week for Religion which will also count toward their final grade. Students in third grade who wish may bring in $4.00 for pizza on Monday and their own juice to drink.
