Homework for Dec. 18 to Dec. 22 for Class 1-2

Dear Parents,
This Tuesday there will be a Religion quiz on Advent and Christmas. On Monday students will be taking the on-line assessments for  the stories: A Fine, Fine School and The Recess Queen.
On Thursday all students should dress up Christmas-sy  for our Lessons and Carols ceremony.  Students will take turns by class to sing in church.  We will be having our class party in the afternoon.  Please send in three dollars for our Christmas party.  I will order pizza and some snacks.  Students should bring in their own juice and ONE treat to share with their classmates. There will be no school on Friday.  We return Jan. 3rd.
During vacation, students will need to bring home their Math book and any other book YOU wish them to review. For Math,  students will need to study all workbook pages and corrected exit tickets for Lessons 16 through 21 for quiz after vacation. For Reading, I have assigned a new set of leveled e-readers on www.pearsonrealize.com  which will be available from Thurs. Dec. 21st through Thurs. Jan. 4th. Students again will need to answer the followup questions in complete sentences from THREE of these books on loose leaf.  The games Pack Up Skills and Monster Mania for Unit 2 this time has also been assigned on www.pearsonrealize.com  Students will also be assigned ONE ELA article (to read and answer) and ONE Math complete assignment on student.frontrowed.com
I will be giving students two new workbooks this week: a new Handwriting workbook with a Religion theme and a Religion workbook to be used mostly for homework assignments.
In January our class will be preparing a display board for a Religion Fair.  Our class theme is Jesus' Miracles which I have already started reading about to the class.
