Homework for Dec. 17 to 20

Dear Parents,
Please remember to bring in $5.00 on Monday for the pizza party if you have done so.  Also please remember to send in a strong plastic or fabric bag to pack up books, and ONE Christmas card.
A reminder that this Monday there will be a Social Studies Quiz and a Math Quiz on Tuesday.  On Wednesday students should wear some combination of red and green clothes for Lessons and Carols.  The children doing the play will have to change clothes in school.  The children in the play will have a final practice 9:00 Tuesday morning. Please refer to Ms. Alma's blog for any information about the performance.  Below I listed the homework  for the entire week including for the vacation.

Homework for Dec. 19
***All students have their books packed up in the back cabinets.  I told them to take home only their folder with their tests to get signed  and their Voyages ELA book because they will have a Grammar quiz on the Monday, Jan. 7--first quiz for the new year! It will be based on pp. 48 to 58. Students have also written their Christmas cards and these will be delivered tomorrow around the school!

ELA- On the pearsonrealize.com  website log on with your username and password.  Read ALL five books listed:  My School Off to School,  It's Time to Get in Line Let's Be Fair!  At School.   Then on loose leaf write a full heading and answer all questions in the back of any THREE books. Answer in complete sentences. Use one loose leaf for each book.

***I strongly recommend that you continue practice ELA and Math on the freckle website since all students will be taking the MAP test in January!!!!!  Students should also be answering the follow-up questions for each non-fiction article. In Math click on Math Practice and work on ALL the different skills (except Financial Literacy).  I will be monitoring on line the work that students are doing.
