What Do I Do Now?  Backup Plan for Remote Learners

 Dear Parents,                                                                                                                                  As you well know, we are often unexpectedly separated for umpteenth reasons—lost internet connection, fire drill, teacher meeting, etc.—so I am offering a few options to students when they ask, “and what do I do now ?” (thanks to a parent's suggestion)

·         * On the Pearson site  read any of the ten leveled readers I have assigned for Unit 1  (all on animal theme).

·        * Work on consecutive pages in Universal handwriting workbook.

·        * Watch any of the videos I assigned on discoveryeducation.com

·       *  If parent is available or child can read,  work on “Guided Instruction” pages in the Math Progress workbook 

*** I will offer further options by next month.

Lesson Plan for 11/16 to 11/20

***This week on Wed. we are celebrating Mickey and Minnie Mouse Day. Students may dress up and wear makeup. On that day also it is my turn to have Edgenuity training from 12:00 to 12:45 so I will not be available during that period.  Please remember that this week we have quizzes in Reading, Writing, Math, and Social Studies--one each day.
