Homework for April 1 to 5

Dear Parents,
         Hopefully you did some work on MAP assignments this weekend.  I had to reassign some assignments that were never done, so please go back and check. There will a End of Module Math Test this Friday! Corrected exit tickets will be sent home on Wed.

Homework for April 1
Math - Do workbook pp. 121-122.  For each use a number bond (break down a number) and then write two number sentences to solve.
Phonics- Do pp. 67, 68, and 69. Follow directions!
***I am sending home a set of tests to be signed and returned by Wednesday: two Reading, one Writing, two Math, two Phonics, two Religion. one Social Studies, one Science.

Homework for April 2
Math- Do workbook pp. 125-126. Use number bonds with two number sentences for the first page and the arrow way on the second page.  See previous pages for a model.
Social Studies-  On loose leaf write a full heading.  Answer the two questions in text p. 167 in complete sentences..

Homework for April 3
Math- Do workbook pp. 129-130. Follow what we did in class on previous pages so that you practice using all the different methods of solving.
Science- On loose leaf write a full heading.  Answer all questions 1 to 10 on pp. C52 and C53.
***I assigned the new book we are studying in class (The Winner's Choice) so you can read it at home on the Pearson website.

Homework for April 4
NO DRESS DOWN TOMORROW!!!
Math-  End of Module 4 Test will be given tomorrow..  Study all corrected exit tickets  21 to 29 as well as all corrected homework pages in your Math book for the test tomorrow!

ELA-  Copy the following title and definitions on the next page of your notebook NEATLY. Then STUDY them for brief assessment tomorrow.

5. money- cash, coins and bills

***Please note that there is 12:00 dismissal on both Monday and Friday next week. Students will receive their report cards next Thursday and Parent-Teacher Conferences are scheduled from 2:00 to 6:00 pm on Friday.


Homework for April 5
Religion - Study Chapter 11 for quiz on Tuesday.
ELA- Study Voyages pp. 95, 97, 100, 103, 104, 112, 117, 118, 121, 122, 123, 124 for Grammar quiz on Thursday.
***Please note that there is 12:00 dismissal on both Monday and Friday. Please send in a strong fabric bag to pack up books.
