Homework for 2nd, 3rd, & 4th for 9/15 to 9/19

    BESIDES REGULAR GYM CLASSES, THERE WILL SPECIAL GYM CLASSES THIS WEEK ON THURSDAY SO STUDENTS IN SECOND, THIRD, AND FOURTH SHOULD WEAR GYM CLOTHES.  THERE WILL BE 12:00 DISMISSAL THIS FRIDAY 9/19.

REL.  9/16  On looseleaf write a FULL HEADING.  Answer ALL TEN questions on p. 30 in Religion book.  Write ONLY the number and the answer for each.

HANDWRITING  9/16 Do pp. 14 and 15 NEATLY.


ELA 9/19 ELA quiz tomorrow. Study all vocabulary definitions at the beginning of the Unit 1 notes.  Study all notes on the book And Still the Turtle Watched, the story "The Boy Who Wanted the Moon," and the poem "Indian Names."  Be able to explain the theme of each.  Be able to give examples of artistic license and personification. The review section will be on figuring out the meaning of words using context clues.



THIRD

Review all parts of a letter including capitalization and punctuation in letter parts.
