Study Guide for Religion Quiz on Sept. 15th

       
       BESIDES REGULAR GYM CLASSES, THERE WILL SPECIAL GYM CLASSES THIS WEEK ON THURSDAY SO STUDENTS IN SECOND, THIRD, AND FOURTH SHOULD WEAR GYM CLOTHES.  THERE WILL BE 12:00 DISMISSAL THIS FRIDAY 9/19.  CHECK BACK ON TUESDAY FOR THIS WEEK'S HOMEWORK.

Below is a study guide for each grade for the Religion quiz on Monday


FOURTH
*Study all Religion notes in notebook and Chapter 1 in textbook.
*Know the definitions of the following words;  Blessed Trinity, holiness, Church, grace, disciple, apostle, image, free will, creation (see text book and notes for these).
* MEMORIZE the Sanctus  prayer in notebook.

THIRD
*Study all Religion notes in notebook and Chapter 1 in textbook.
*Know the definitions of the following words:  apostle, disciple, Blessed Trinity, Holy Family,  prophet (John the Baptist), Jesus  (name means "God saves), public ministry, Incarnation, repent, reverence (see text book and notebook),
.Be able to give four examples of what Jesus did during his life on earth.

SECOND
*Study all Religion notes in notebook and Chapter 1 in textbook.
*Know the definitions of the following terms:  Blessed Trinity: God as Father and creator; Jesus as His Son and our Savior; Holy Spirit as our guide and helper.
Holy Family is Jesus, Mary, and Joseph
*Know what makes Jesus  human and what makes him divine.
*MEMORIZE the Sign of the Cross which is a prayer to the Blessed Trinity
* Be able to give three examples of what Jesus could do because he was divine.
