Dear Parents,
This is a reminder that on Wed. all students should come dressed in red or pink for their St. Valentine musical presentation at 9:00. There is no school on Thurs., Fri., or Mon. but I will be assigning homework. We will have a mini Valentine party on Wed. afternoon depending on student behavior.

Homework for Feb. 10 (Mon.)
Math- Do workbook pp. 44 and 45. NOTE WE ARE SKIPPING LESSON 7 AND DOING THAT TOMORROW! Students should use either all small or all large paper clips as we practiced in class.
Science- Study sheet of notes on the seasons stapled in the notebook for a brief assessment tomorrow.
***I am sending home the test folder today with TEN tests. Parent, please sign each test and return in the same folder by this Wednesday! Please note that the two Math tests are based on 50% each so don't panic.
***Today I gave an assessment on the vocabulary definitions from Going to School as I said I would. I noticed that some students did not even write the definitions in their notebook as I assigned for homework and therefore failed the assessment! Some did not even have the definitions for the previous book Far From Home. Please take note of this before it is too late!
Homework for Feb. 11 (Tues.)
Math- You must use the two paper strips of small paper clips and of the large paper clips in the folder to measure each of the objects on workbook p. 39 and list both measurements on the top half of p. 41. This Math page is also in your folder. For the bottom half choose any five objects you have at home.
Religion- Answer p. 118 in the workbook. Be sure to answer the question at the bottom in a complete sentence. Look up the answers in the chapter. Don't guess.
***Remember to wear red or pink clothes tomorrow for the musical presentation at 9:00. Bring your own extra juice containers and a small Valentine treat to share with the class.
***Remember to bring in your test folder with each test signed so I can file them.
Homework for Feb. 12 (Wed.)
Math- Do workbook pp. 50, 51, and 52. Draw the centimeter cubes to model each problem as shown in class on pp. 48 and 49. Then write a number sentence and statement for each problem.
