Dear Parents,
Third and fourth graders are taking the Math State Test this week and second graders will be taking the ITBS Test. Each test willl last three days: Tues. through Thurs. starting at 9:00 each day. The schedule for ITBS is as follows: Vocabulary and Phonics on Tues. Reading on Wed. Spelling, Capitalization, Punctuation, and Written Expression as well as Math on Thurs. The ELA quiz is postponed until next Monday. All those assigned the action plan in Math or ELA on their report cards must continue their four assigned lessons each week. They are being checked and grades recorded to be sent to Mr. Woods.
FOURTH
5/4 ELA Quiz that was cancelled this week due to testing will be given next Mon., May 8. Review all vocabulary in ELA notebook and be able to summarize Chapter 1 of The Hope Chest. There will be a Religion Quiz next Friday based on the Archdiocesan Review notes in the Religion notebooks.
THIRD
5/4 ELA Quiz that was cancelled this week due to testing will be given next Mon., May 8. Review all vocabulary in ELA notebook and be able to explain why there is such little access to freshwater on earth. There will be a Religion Quiz next Friday based on the Archdiocesan Review notes in the Religion notebooks.
SECOND
5/4 ELA Quiz that was cancelled this week due to testing will be given next Mon., May 8. Review all vocabulary in ELA notebook for 4/24, 4/26, and 4/28 which is from nutrients to tissue. Be sure to be able to explain what "keep your fingers crossed" or "seeing is believing" means.
