Dear Parents,
This is our last week before the Easter break and the ELA State Test is scheduled to be given right after we return. Homework will be assigned by all teachers to be done over the vacation. There will be no Religion quiz this Monday. This Tuesday, however, all classes will have an ELA quiz with short responses and an essay based on a reading passage in further preparation for the state test. Please let your children know if there are certain books you want them to take home over the vacation before they are packed up on Wednesday. ELA and Religion notebooks are definitely are being sent home and should be cared for, reviewed, and returned. On Friday we will have an Easter party after lunch. Students may wear dress up clothes but NO jeans or sneakers since we are going to church for Stations of the Cross. More details about this as well as homework and vocabulary words for this week will be on the blog by Tuesday.
SECOND GRADERS IN THE SACRAMENTAL PROGRAM WILL BE CELEBRATING FIRST RECONCILIATION THIS TUESDAY AT 11:00. Parents are invited. On Thursday, third and fourth graders will be doing their Lenten confessions on Thursday at 10:30.
